She's the intern at the end of the film. I'm not sure if she even has a character name - I've not seen the film since it was out. I can't find anything on the imdb to suggest who she is. :(

    Film adaptations of stage plays.
    3. The Crucible
    4. Desperate Hours (
I'd to check this was based on a play
    )
    5. Sleuth
    7. The Subject Was Roses (It's Grandpa Joe!)
    9. Long Day's Journey Into Night (Jason Robards being the clue)

I'm trying to figure out the rest!

I actually thought No. 2 might be Dangerous Minds, but that's based on a book. And it looks much earlier.

Yeah, it's an older movie alright, from the 80s.

    Just three left.

    Spot on, well done.

You're not wrong in that. But I'm looking for a more specific answer

Nope, afraid not (actually I had'nt checked that...so you may be right....but in any case that's not the link I had in mind!!)
But the play is certainly part of the link.

The plays all won the Tony award for Best Play.

That's a gold star very well earned! Yes, they were all Tony award winners for Best Play....later adapted for the screen. Well done.

That should make the remaining two a bit easier.
#2 is from the 80s and one of the lead stars won an Oscar for this film.
#6 is the film version of a play by a famous Irish playwright
