I want to ask the bar man out

Awh I liked this, fair play op I would never have gotten the guts to do that. Although I was out with my sister on one of our random too much nights and this guy was ordering drinks at the bar beside me, I was drunk and just blurted out "Jesus look at the size of your hands, what are you doing with them?" "Buying you a drink" he said. score! Still with him 4 years later even though I thought he was taking the piss out of me initially. I didn't believe what he did for a living and thought he was blowing me off. Turns out I was wrong :-)

So...what did he do for a living?? Worked on the oil rigs or something?
