Use the kitchen tap sure if thats any handier

Think I remember seeing an attachment for a pressure washer to hook up to a kitchen tap which may need to do...or plenty of buckets of water. I even bought some Auto Finesse Revive to polish up the trim, which might have to wait until Friday...

It's also possible to get a hose with a pump/filter on one end which goes into a tank of rainwater and the other end connects to the pressure washer as normal. Very handy if you have barrels set up to collect rainwater. The filter gets rid of any dirt in the water and you're left with a wet car but without the risk of hard water if you have it.

Someone on here had this setup, can't remember who it was though!

That sounds great, I'm sick of finding water spots on my car if I don't get a spot dry. (Read: miss it)

Fairly sure I drove past Tossy in his S3 today in Drumcondra with me heading Northbound. Noticed the car immediately and went for a wave but unfortunately the rather fine specimen of a lady across the road took all his attention as I drove past... Ended up waving at a taxi driver...:D

Have you learned nothing from me? :pac:

Either alloys or alloys and tyres. They're a bit of a pain to find, since they go by many names. "scirocco alloys", "Turbine alloys" or their real name, "interlagos" alloys.

Never heard of eastcoast alloys, but just checked em out and they dont have em on their site.

Never really thought of Ebay, since postage from the UK might be crippling. Theres a set on ebay for £550+$65 postage. Thats probably gonna work out around €730-€740. £200 less if I get the without tyres, so it kinda depends what quality the tyres are on them. Last thing I want are rock hard "economy" tyres.

FKPerformance has the same deal for €700 - linky. Again, depends what his definition of "performance" tyres is.

I would wager they will be rubbish tyres.
I have no idea where these companies get their definition or "performance tyres" from.

Best off bring a set in from the UK and fit a set of Hankook tyres. Cant go wrong.
Have you check any UK forums?
Often some nice wheels for sale on edition38

I think that looks very well, much better than the saloon version. I do love estates though.

I have come up with a genious solution to the distractions that the good weather brings.
If the air temperature is over 18ºc and it is not raining all cars will be electronically limited to 15km/h in built up areas. This will obviously limit the damage done in the inevitable crash caused by the distractions due to the lower speed and also has the benifit of giving you longer to look

It's says that we have 19 degrees now. I don't really think so. All road in estate melted!!! It's like river of tar!!! Scary! Had do drive throughout it :(. Thanks God no visible damage so far.

Funny, I'm sure I drove by one of the cars from the meet the other day. As in 99.9% sure.

Well lads. Up since 4:00 in the morning, day at work. Then moving all day. When moved spent 1h20min on a phone with eircom and esb. Tired as a dog, house has unpacked boxes and bags stuffed up to sealing.

And I am happy now, sitting in the back of the house in very private garden eating ice cream :) could not be happier!

    Motor related:

If I would be stoped today and asked to open boot, then I would in very accouard situation...

Ah, it's still complete mess. Will take few weeks before my mancave resorted and just being able to sit in living room lol. Though it is fantastic place. Very old fashioned inside, but we can paint and do stuff yourself later.

    Super happy!
