Youd want more than a good curry to mask the stink off a puck goat id say.

Goat is lovely. Has to be under 12 months old though. We used to slaughter our own when I was young. Very tender meat and tasty too - same as lamb but less fatty.

Goats are so fertile. We started off buying 2 females and 1 Buck / Puck (What ever way you want) and within 4 years we had over 60 of them in total. It was a great hobby for us as children - we used to milk some, we had a couple of great milkers and we used to rear calves on them.

Once cooked consume within 90 minutes. Warning may contain nuts.

I cooked a leg one time that the uncle had killed , I could hardly take it out of the oven the smell was so bad when it was cooked despite half a stone of herbs covering it . It must not have been as young as he let on .
Turned me off them after that

Does anyone else think a young bull in his first season won't be able to serve two cows who are both rambling, one standing waiting the other about 2 hours from standing heat, could not wait to see as young lad in back of car roaring and won't get back up for couple hours

I had to drive to Conmel one day around ten years ago in weather like this. A lorry belonging to one of the rendering co.s pulled out of a large pig farm close to me with a skip full of dead pigs (they have a skip on site all the time gets collected around once a forthnight). It took a good ten minutes before I got a chance to pass him, bloody long ten minutes. Truck was going through Clonmel when I was there you and could smell him long before you could see him.

Skin it, gut it and skewer it and put it over a spit for 12-14hrs over a decent oak charcoal fire. bit of salt, oregano and pepper and you have a serious feed.
