You could refill the cartridges or use a CISS (continuous ink) system.

Super was about to order new heads for my old mp260 which had printed thousands of pages on the original heads.

+1 I have a jr inkjet ciss that worked flawlessly for years until I stupidly changed to a different ink supplier and it screwed up in a couple of weeks.

There's cheap inks on Amazon not sure they're any good though: http://www.amazon.co.uk/100ml-Bottles-Bulk-Ink-CISS/dp/7807132523/

I've been manually refilling my HP for years probably saved over €200 at this stage. Considering switching to CISS.

    Ink tho?

Unclear, have to ask them before buying I suppose .... http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Canon-Outlet/Product-Types.html
Please note that the cartridges might be already installed in the printer.

Looks like they might not accept the Parcel Motel shipping address :( :

What address should I enter in the billing information screen?
Please enter the address that is verified on your PayPal account, as we can only ship to verified PayPal account addresses.

I got one delivered to parcel motel from them a couple of months ago with no issue. Just added it as a delivery address on ebay and didn't encounter any probs.

Got mine on the 31st - delivered in Belfast just before 10am - down in Dublin just after 10pm. Still haven't got around to unboxing it.

Mine arrived in Belfast on the 31May and in Cork the next day at 08am. I only collected it today though. I had a quick look in the box and all looked ok including the ink. The printer itself looked like it had never been used.

As a matter of interest, when you check the Parcel force tracking, mine says signed for by s Hawthorne , I assume someone at parcel motel? Says delivered on 30th but canon only sent me tracking on 31st. . . .

I grabbed one of these bargains at the time, and am only getting around to unboxing the printer now. Has anyone else had trouble with installation? I can't get either Mac or PC to detect the USB cable which is necessary for WiFi printing setup, and obviously regular wired printing. Absolute pain in the ass if I have to return this now. I've contact the seller so will see what they come back with.
