It's going to be RORY at 16/1 for me this week. I think this will be the first time I've ever backed him.

Two recent top 10's here and after his drama queen antics last week, when he was playing in the Arctic and the rest of the field were playing in England, I think he'll be out to prove a point in the better weather.

Wouldn't touch him at single figures but I'm liking the 16/1 available.

ELS 80/1 and ROSE 25/1 are the EW alternatives for me.

I'm TIGERS biggest fan but I'm still licking some deep wounds from Augusta and I'll not be getting my money back at 9/4.

I don't like "following" players every week in the hope they finally click so I'm dropping STENSON and VAN PELT this week after trying with them a few times recently. If either win I'll shoot myself in the face.

I'll also be hoping for a decent performance from Snedeker. I have a few decent bets on him already for the US OPEN so I'd like a nice under the radar showing from him. Maybe a top 20 (to show he is coming back well from injury) so I can still get some more 25/1 for the US OPEN after this weekend.

    Best of luck to all.

Had a chuckle reading the above :D

Just two bets so far. Will have a couple more bets since this is one of my favourite tournaments/courses on the Tour all year.

    The Memorial:

    Henrik Stenson @ 66/1 (Bet 365)
Bo Van Pelt @ 70/1 (Sporting Bet)

Same here, I've had a few bets on him at 25/1 already and hope to get a bit more on in the next couple weeks. Just looking from a solid week for him this week.

Do you know something we don't about Snedeker for the US Open?

Do you know something we don't about Snedeker for the US Open?

He impressed me last year and I changed my opinion about his bottle.

I think he is in the top 3-5 form wise in the world over the last 12 months.

His game is very much suited to the course and a major is the next target in his career.

He seems to be picking and choosing his competitions with the majors in mind and his performance at Augusta was fairly impressive but for a back 9 c*ck up on Sunday which I hope he has learned from.

25/1 is fantastic EW value but ill be mostly on to win.

Decent spot.Another sillyish one worth considering is Jonathan Byrd. He's in absolutely horrendous form but his course record in the past 4 years read's T6,T7,MC and T3.His T3 in '09 was during another particularly poor patch of form so I don't see any harm in backing him at 250/1

Going for Tiger at 9/4. I was hoping he'd be around 3's, but I can't not back him. A lot of players in this field have failed to kill off tournaments lately this year. Most notably Matt Kuchar who'd I'd see as the main threat in the field. Boo was phenomenal on Sunday, but Kuchar should have been able to catch him.
Another golfer I would have liked was Schwartzel, but his putting in the Byron Nelson drove me insane, having had him in a double with McDowell for the Matchplay.

I've backed Jonas Blixt for a Top 20 Finish in the Nordea. I think last week on the PGA was his best finish this season, so he could be coming good again. Had a great end to last year, and one I'll be watching for the remainder of the season. 7/4 seems attainable.
He's also 15/2 for Top Swede, only behind Hanson & Noren in the betting. Could be a free e/w bet paying 4 places at a 1/5.

the 175/1 about Wilson was on betpack, they're paying 6 aswell.
Couple of times they go best price on all golfers.
Defo worth a look at for small to medium size punters.
Not a great shower for laying big tbh.

    Am I tripping ?

Rory has played 6 holes and has missed 4 putts from within 10 foot including a 3 footer ?

    Tortuous few days ahead.

After 9 holes Rory is now out to 100/1 on Coral. Shocking start.

This week was the first time I've ever backed him. They can quote any price they like in future and I won't be touching it.

My own fault for not knowing he had changed back to his old putter last week. All the F*cking research and I didn't notice that. The guy is a long way from competing again. Seems it's in his head now.

    Ouch!!!
Just what the hell has been going on with Watney lately?
He looked like a Major contender last year.

Blixt with a good Day 2 in the Nordea, 4 under after 9.

Think I backed Rory around 20s or so a few event's back but his price has gone back in more recently.
