Jesus, that was some story in T Fenton's case.
Cancer in skin, lung, stomach, prostrate and brain!
New drug reduced it all by 90%.

Then again, he personally handled and managed his own situation. No messing. No waiting around. Great example to us all.

I feel rough. On the way to load cattle for the mart with the old man now and am day dreaming about the pillow. No more drink for junio for a while!

I don't even bother with it anymore unless I have the following day off. Just can't cope with the hangovers now. God be with the days I'd come in around the time you posted have a cuppa and a toastie and go and do a days work without a bother.

Anyone use the net type gravel bags on the pit or are they a waste of money?

Back from my greenkeeping duties, no vodka was needed to help me get up and at it

No and I'd say so. Always used tuck/bus tyres fast and effective.

We use car tyres but I mean around the walls and front

Side sheeting toed under the crop and long enough to reach up over the shoulder by a good few feet. Two new sheets on top wide enough to fold up the side walls by around a foot then truck tyres touching acroos whole pit. Usually have no (discernible)waste on grass and minimal on wholecrop other than occasional rodent damage though I'm sure someone will be along in a minute to explain the unseen losses I am suffering.

Yeh i have them and like them. a handy tip for filling them is get a road cone turn it upside down between the spikes of a grab and just shovel into the upside down road cone.
Now im off to get legless and make a complete show of myself down in leitrim. I'll keep an eye out for a redhead being stalked by a young lad on a quad.
