Popped into Aldi to get a few things after work. Checkouts were pretty busy, so I started to queue at the shortest one, which was just behind a couple unloading a full trolley worth of stuff onto the belt. The guy saw I only had 3 items and told me to skip past them.

It was only a small thing that he wasn't in any way obliged to do, but it made me smile after a crappy day of work.

    It's 30 degrees outside.

I've had three espressos in the space of two hours and am like someone with a rocket up my ass.

I found a tenner in my jeans pocket.

Some random colleague I've never met just gave me a cookie.

An ex from ten million years ago just added me on facebook and he's REALLY HOT.

I started a new job six weeks ago and was built up to my co-workers by management. So they have kept giving me impossible tasks to do, stuff that was tried by several others and they couldn't complete it. I got one today and resolved it relatively quickly. Also some fella working in IT complimented my blog today.

My 13-yr-old niece said 'you look cool' to me today. I bought new runners and some new clothes. I was positively chuffed.

As I said in the thread in question...
I know, that's the one downside it's not cheap!

But when ya break it down it works out at an extra €220 per quarter above what I was paying for my 2.0 TDI Passat

    €220 / 90 days = €2.44 extra per day... less than a cup of coffee! (that's how I justify it anyway ) :p

Well worth it for the comfort, toys, power, and on days like we've had this week the sunroof is a great thing :)

I'm surprisingly alert, considering I've had feck all sleep.
My gran is going out for a few hours this afternoon, so I can go into town and buy stuff (I've been caring for her for a few days, while she waits for surgery to help her walk).
She threw fifty euro at me and told me to buy something pretty, and keep my wages for more important things. :pac:
    It's sunny and warm.
My newest dress is now too big. :D
    I look nice today.

As long as nothing goes wrong, today will be great. :)

It's Saturday. Always the best day of the week. Met up with a friend yesterday afternoon for a drink but was so knackered after a long week at work I went home early. Went to bed about 8pm and feel absolutely phenomenal today. Beautiful weather outside and heading to a friend's hen later. T'will be a good day.

Had to go to Hong Kong recently, the job said they'll pay me the week I was away, really wasn't expecting that :)

My boyfriend invited me to a festival in Ballyshannon and I said yes before I could think about it. Heading there tomorrow and I'll catch the last day.

In a great mood now :D don't normally do things like this but I love being spontaneous!

Definitely not the most meltworthy pic of Alison I've seen...

OT - I had my first ever phone interview for a job today and, while I don't know whether I'll progress to the next round of interviews, I didn't cock it up completely.

Water balloon fight today put my in a great mood. I fill up normal balloons so they are absolutely huge and harder to burst. My nephew just put them on the ground and rolled them around a bit so there was a hole, came over to me and squeezed it so it burst all over me! Gave me a laugh anyway.

Getting a ride later too so that has a smile on my face!

My Mum flying all the way to Oz to visit me.

Well, I say me but I really mean my Daughter. The old girl hasn't given me the time of day since her granddaughter was born.

Gonna treat her like a Queen for the next month.
