    Whatever about it being a racial thing... it's not REALLY. no matter who said it was, who said it wasnt. it wasnt. it was just an excuse you heard on the radio from a number of the teenage scumbags. white, black, f&cking purple with yellow polka dots for all i care - the main reason it got out of control was because they were young, in the sun, drinking all day, smoking weed and taking other drugs perhaps, and then inevitably fighting when they crammed up onto a small enough beach with thousands of other little d!ckheads.

    they can scream "Racist" all they want - from either side of the argument. it wasnt that. even if it appears to be that way.

    it was teenagers attacking each other, no matter what colour, or creed.

    I don't understand how you can call him racist if he is only repeating what he heard on a radio station.
    I really hate all this kind of your a racist rubbish if someone said it was an Irish lad that started it would the same comment be considered "racist"? No it wouldn't so get off your high horse. In both the video and from what he heard on the radio station the story is the same, so how is he meant to know any better unless physically there in the middle of it when it started.

    To say that this 'riot' was instigated by the group of black lads is kind of missing the point.

    This started when all of these underage people got their dirty little paws on booze, boarded buses and trains and arrived out in Portmarnock, ready to drink themselves stupid. Something would have happened regardless, something ALWAYS happens on the beach, this is the first time I've heard of a racial element.(Though about 5 years ago, it was a group of Polish and some knackers launching bottles at each, coincidentally in the same place!) Someone was stabbed there last year, there were brawls all over the beach front - but you didnt hear anything about that in the news.

    Adrian Kennedy was fueling this **** last night calling it a race war. We have an impending problem that it seems Black people are mates with black people, asians with asians, pikeys with pikeys etc. there is a lack of integration. This on any other day could have been two groups of white lads knocking the ****e out of each other and nobody would have cared. It looks like a race 'riot' but Im not sure that's why it happened, I will say it sounds like the casual Irish racism came into it in the end.

    Seeing as the Gardai mainly arrived AFTER the incident I think they did a good job in that sense (15 Cars and vans when I was driving home.), however as this sort of thing is commonplace in the summer in Portmarnock surely they know to have a visible presence on the beach by now. 2 lads on a hill isnt enough. It's not the job of just Malahide Garda station(only available certain days) to police this, it's wider than that - they need to be in the areas where the troublemakers are coming from, ensuring they're not getting served their booze and jumping on buses.

    Actually, the progenitors of the next generation won't be solely confined to the kids that were fighting on the beach.

    At least I hope not as we'll all look like people from Cavan with a gene pool as small as that.

    Every single uneducated scumbag involved in or leaving comments on social media (check portmarnock riots 2013 on youtube) advocating this behavior on portmarnock beach should be dealt with by sharia law.

    They all have tiny minds & tiny cocks,their 'parents' are a total failure,they are well beyond rehabilitation,impossible to educate & a complete waste of energy & time; put into perspective I ask all educated taxpayers to consider this; imagine borrowing 30 grand then setting it on fire.When I think of a solution Zyklon-B immediately springs to mind.
