Im a runner but Im injured at the moment so I've been on the bike these past few weeks. I've been using my racing bike and a spin bike in the gym to keep me ticking over but the pedals for the two bikes are different. The cleats on the shoes I use for the racing bike dont fit the pedals that are on the spin bike. Up until this point I've been just strapping my feet into the spin bike but its pretty inefficient and I wanna use the proper fitting so that I can use my bike shoes.
Is there a universial fitting that you can use on the racing bike and the spin bike? Or do I have to get seperate fittings for each pedal type?
    Cheers

Seperate fittings more than likely. Each manufacturer has their own cleats for their own pedals.

Cool thanks. Can you change fittings on one shoe? What I mean is do I have to buy a seperate pair of shoes for each pedal type?

I think in my gym they use spd pedals on one side and loopin type on the other side. I'm guessing you could get spd pedals and cleats for you bike if similar.
