Weed killer that won't harm the garden birds

    Hi,

The weeds in my garden are just getting too out of control so I am contemplating resorting to using weed killer. However, I do not want to put down anything that will harm the garden birds. Can anyone recommend one which is non-toxic and won't cause them any harm? And perhaps recommend somewhere in Dublin I can get it? If there isn't one available I'll just keep pulling them!

    Thanks :)

Mods, I wasn't sure about whether to put this in this forum or in gardening but since the safety of the birds are my main concern I went with this one. Apologies if it needs to be moved.

Without getting in to the whole "weeds provide seeds and grubs etc for birds" almost all widely available weed killers are now safe for pets and birds once they have dried in.

Would agree with this, but best to read the pack carefully before buying jus tto be sure, OP.
