Best place to find Late deals for next week?

Last minute decision means I am now looking to plan a trip for next week. From Monday for 4/5 nights. Does anyone know the best place to find a good deal? Any websites with late deals? I can't seem to find any. Not looking for a resort holiday as such. Barcelona would be good but we have been there before. Would love some heat and good weather and also some sightseeing.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Go into your local travel agent and see what they have on offer, they'll always have a deal going.

Aertel holiday pages looked like they had some late deals at reasonable prices.

Not sure if this is still the case, but with travel agents, especially the telephone variety, they would start by offering their most expensive options, (best commission for them) and you kept turning them down until they came to the cheapest available, rock bottom prices.

gohop.ie and lastminute.ie sometimes have good last minute deals
I know Sky tours and Sunway often send faxes to our office for deals leaving in the next 7 days - always at least one deal on offer for under €300.

what about Malta? my colleague just told me at lunch that she has booked a flight for next week to visit her mum. Came in at just over €200 with all the extras. And there are loads of very reasonable hotels in Malta, and it would tick all the boxes you have mentioned.
