    OK, this was bugging me :) so I checked out my nsa310, it has the exact same setting screen for log report config as you posted above for the nsa325, I put in my details and it works with the settings in email server set as smtp.gmail.com or pop.gmail.com

    The only conclusion I can come to is that the only variable that inadvertently may be incorrect is your password.

    what firmware do you have?
    i'll contact zyxel about it. see if it;s something they can help with.

    Latest firmware updated yesterday ver 4.51

    It is something simple, I am convinced of that let me know how you get on :)

    I have updated to the recent Firmware Version: 4.51(AFK.0) which should sort out the dropbox API... but i dont think this is an API problem.

    Here is what happens...

    I tick the box that says “Enable Dropbox”

    Then I click "apply"

    I get the “please wait” icon and then it shows the following…

    Status: Ready
    Name: N/A
    Email: N/A

    And it shows me the "logout" option box.

    I take it to sign in to dropbox and fill in my details (name/email) that I just click on “logout” and then sign in…

    I click logout and then it displays the following:

    "This will stop syncing your files with Dropbox, but won't delete the files in the Dropbox folder on NSA.
    Are you sure you want to logout?"

    I click yes

    I get the “please wait” icon and then it shows the following after a while…

    Parse Error! And the “please wait” icon keeps rotating and it will say after a while “Unable to get permission from Dropbox. Please try again.”

    I had thought it might be my pop up blocker in firefox stopping the logon popup for dropbox but i have it disabled and just to be sure, i tried it in IE too... but no luck.

    I am stumped... I know a popup should appear to allow me to login to dropbox but non appears... it just seems to timeout.

    Anyone know how i can sort out this problem.

    you are missing a page. once you click enable and then apply you should get dropbox opened in a new window where you log in and activate the link to your nsa. On the admin page you will have the pop up below with the get ready button.

    "When you've given the NSA permission to connect to your account on the Dropbox website, click the "Get Ready" button."

    What browser did work when you tried? I tried firefox and IE but no luck.

    at first i was using chrome. tested it with ie and firefox and all managed to do it.

    just got 4.60 and chrome will no longer accept my login.

    Firefox and IE are both working.

    I have been trying to get my NSA to connect to Dropbox for the past year without success.

    Chrome was the problem. I tried it with IE just now and it connected straight away.

    Just put this media server on my 325 - Serviio 1.1
    PITA to install (really wished I had done more linux in college) but so far it seems very powerful.

    I currently have 1 of these with a 2TB western digital red drive in it and I was wondering would it be possible to add a 3TB drive to the rear usb connection and use 2TB of that drive for a 1:1 backup and the remaining 1TB for data?

    I just got my nsa325 and I can't get dropbox to work, I read here that using a different browser worked but I'm on Linux and neither firefox or chrome will work.

    Did anyone get it working on Linux?

    I have nsa325 also and same issue. Also I got it with one 3Tb drive and was going to buy a 2nd 3Tb to do raid 1 but seems the firmware doesn't allow you do this with a 3tb drive??

    same here, must email them about it as I know other people get custom firmware from zyxel.......

    Let me know if you have any luck. I see the 310 and 320 are both at 4.51, I think the update fixes dropbox.

    Just found this, in the above folder there is a copy of the 4.60 firmware.

    I Haven't tried it yet, and I didn't get this through official channels so apply at own risk.

    I Will give it a go later.

    Just installed the new firmware on my 325 and dropbox worked. It has got confused and tried to download the same torrent about 500 times.

    I installed the new 4.51 firmware but still can't connect to dropbox, I get the following message:

    Unable to get permission from Dropbox. Please try again.
    Then I get another message:
    When you've given the NSA permission to connect to your account on the Dropbox website, click the "Get Ready" button.

    And goes from one screen to the other one continously.
    Any ideas on how to remedy this?

    I think it's related to your browser, doesn't work too well with Chrome for example, the link you need to click on doesn't appear, use IE instead and give it a lash just to get it up and running, you will be fine going back to your normal browser then.

    i contacted them pre me getting 4.6 about the 2*3TB hdd and they said it can hold up to 8TB.

    4.6 let me get dropbox working fine. browser was defo an issue when i was doing it.

    I have 2*3tb in JBOD and all but the reporting email working. Still cannot get around that part for some reason.

    It was mentioned a few pages back how to get the email report working. I followed the steps mentioned there and it works. If it's not working in a browser, make sure you try different browsers as well as it seems it's a hit and miss re. the browsers when accessing the settings.

    In work right now so can't log into the server, but I'll do that tomorrow for you.
    Anyway, I'm using gmail and just followed the steps. Did you try yo set it up using different browsers?
