    You are definitely wrong, the commonest idea is that he says 'Uppercut', which is also wrong. Think about it, it's a low quality voice played on a fairly primitive console, it's not going to be clear. I always thought Mario in MarioKart said 'Mexico' but he obviously says 'Let's Go!'

    Contrary to many beliefs, Axel says "Grand Upper!" when you execute his >,>,B move in both Streets of Rage 2 and Bare Knuckle III
    In Streets of Rage 3, perhaps as a homage/in-joke, this was changed to "Bare Knuckle!"

    You might be talking about two different phrases. At 58sec in the video above you can hear him say something that sounds very like 'Raise the paw'. However I think it could be 'Raise the power' in an Asian accent.

    Aw Road Rash!! I used to love that game, kicking people off their bikes :D I still have it around somewhere, must find it and play it! The music was crap though...

    Um... I don't know - Looks like the same game to me! Except my one had 'Rusty Cage' and a few other songs like that :/

    Edit: Actually I don't think I had it on Sega, think it was on Playstation? Not sure though. That's probably what it is.
