I can't believe that people actually like these monstrosities

IMO they are the ugliest car to come out in the last 10ish years. I can honestly say that I wouldn't drive it if I got it for free.

True that, looks like its deformed with its saggy front lights.

Other than the saggy deformed melted looking front, the wheels that are too big for the arches but too small for the body, the stupid fooking boot stuck on its arse, the tail lights that are too small, the back bumper that looks fat and heavy and the fake wood that some of them have in the interior they are pretty nice:rolleyes:.

Also the fact that it comes in diesel is the final nail in the coffin for an already nasty car.

polished the glanza by hand the other day and i was pretty pleased with how it looked. went at it with the polisher this evening until it went dark (around 10pm) freaking delighted with it!

I really want a DA, I never understood why people got so into detailing before but it's really satisfying.

Bit of a waste on a silver car to be honest.

found any of my silver cars a bit of a disappointment too tbh :P silver just always looks the same :( but its all in "the knowing", once you know and you're happy, there's nothing like it. that and the beading of course!

something very relaxing about giving the car a once over though. throw on a good cd and do 4 or 5 laps of the car with different stages of polish... arms do by pulled off you but its great for the soul :D

Don't worry, I'll be aiming for a colour with my next car. ;)

And if you got a good look at my paint, you'd cry. Washed with a sponge and washing up liquid in one bucket for it's entire life. :p

Washing up liquid is great, if you actually want to strip every layer of protection off the car.... aside from that....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,920 ✭✭✭✭MetzgerMeister

The worst thing about washing up liquid is that it encourages rust because it's full of salt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

few snaps from this evening. not the best, it was very dark by the time the car was photo worthy. its not "finished" with tyre shine or anything because i'l have to wash it in the morning to get the dust out from the panel gaps and what not.

Looks fantastic. :) What does that red sticker say on the front window?

    Don't even mention it. :(

The Glanza looks unreal, I really love the wheels and the OEM sticker.

Can someone please tell me where abouts George Dalton's is in Portlaoise. I couldn't for the life of me locate it today so I gave up and drove home.
