    Heading to a party tonight...up early with the kid in the morning, probably a trip to the swimming pool....head home then and watch the three stooges while Mrs takes el kiddo to an afternoon kids disco...nothing much for a normal person to write home about....but for a middle aged man living in rural Ireland this weekend is the equivalent of a weekend in Vegas....

    I'm having a weekend in. First weekend I haven't gone out at all in about 3 years...almost. Going to finish my book tonight, have a glass of wine, get to bed earlyish then meet a friend tomorrow for a day of culture!

    I have had enough of my ****ty small couch so I dragged my mattress into the sitting room and seem to have somehow built a fort with the other furniture. It's very comfy and convenient.
