asking €1600, brand new NCT and a whisker of tax. Sounds like he'd take a close offer.
Dencent bit of recent work - Front pads and discs, Front and rear wheel bearings, Front shocks and ball joints, Front track arms and figure of 8s.
fecking good car, id love to drive one like that but wife....:(

spoiler is the factory original :) i get your point though.

on some of the owners forums you do see lads "oh the back end is so giddy in corners now i've taken the spoiler off" yeah, sure it is.

i like the ae111's though, its like the classy alternative to a 1600 civic :pac:

I'd love to drive that but my insurance would rape me:pac: Lovely cars though, especially in black.

Ugly gear knob (O.K. - just a matter of taste). ;)

But facelift airbag in pre-facelift car smells fishy. :o

Of course it can be someone's modification, but it also can be a replacement after a crash and body repair.

I'd never have spotted that.. :o

I personally like the car. It's near me too.

Looking for a first car. Tempting.

    Tempting indeed. :D

As I mentioned - I may be wrong, so it'd be good if you can take someone well experienced with you to take a closer look onto her. :)

also, a six speed box was the g6r wasn't it. If so it should have a body kit to match the sports seats

If I'm right which I'm 99% sure I am, one of my friends (also from Mallow) owned this car until about 10 months ago. They bought it from a reputable garage and only recently discovered that it was a UK import that had been written off with over 200,000 miles on it. That said, they had it a few years and it never let them down once. I drove it once and it felt great too...

Nope, 1.3 G6 also available. Probably more common here than the g6r for that matter I reckon. At least just as common I reckon.

No doubt the gap has now narrowed immensely but I reckon it was never worth the premium it commanded over the 5 spd version. It had marginally uprated upholstery, grill, and alloys but they certainly wouldn't have being enough to justify the higher asking prices it commanded either.

Taxed until 02/14, Nct'd up to 01/14, luxurious and reliable motor with low enough mileage for a reasonable asking price of €1100

Was that Rover posted here recently? Very decent car for the money given the tax on it!

That Ka looks to have its sills repaired but hard to tell how well. The gearknob and mileage on the Punto don't add up to me

Do you reckon it could just be the lighting in the pic of the Ka. You could be spot on. But I haven't the best eye sight myself.

Now, that did cross my mind. I suppose, a car tell check could be done byu someone who may be interested. :)

I was having a look through the thread and most of the cars are sold. I was wondering did anyone here make a purchase? If so how did they get on?

    gear knob looks funny.

Standard knob. The glue used is rubbish and often the knob flies off, hence why your one doesn't have that knob ;)

What are they like? Are they the standard 1.2 engine mated to a six speed box? I'd imagine they'd be a nippy shopping trolley:). How well do they hold together?
