    Pretty much my thinking.!
Can't see much of a family market for a 2.4l petrol, but somewhat a bargain alright.!

If I were considering to buy a 7-seater, I'd be on my way to Waterford right now. Seriously! :)

    18 months test.

How can a '04 car currently have an NCT that's valid until '15?

Insurance disc on the Laguna is from a different car, bit strange.
Or else I'm doting, I'm sure I could clearly read the reg a minute ago and it was from a 90s car

    Edit. Right first time.

    Also selling this

My brother has a 04 Golf imported from the UK and had the NCT this year and he got 2 years. Not to sure how it works.

I had an import that was the same, think there must be a bit of random chance as to whether you get certified to date of first registration of car or date of first registration in Ireland.

This gets interesting. The "different car" is also a Laguna. A '96 Mk1 2.2 diesel, the 96D29150 gave it away :D

Clean looking car, low mileage, almost a year's NCT and with a 04 reg, that's a seriously good price.

I was expecting it either looks very bad, or has 200k miles or something. If it drives as good as seller claims this shouldn't last long. Bargain of the month imo.

Do ye think that is a seriously good price? Could you see somebody giving much more for a 9 year old large petrol citroen?

I think it is about right. What isn't right is the dressed up balls of ****e going for the same money.

great if you know someone that can fix citroen suspension (if it goes wrong) when i lived in derby we had a couple of independant citroen specialists who would repair suspension for the same as normal struts. round here i could imagine my local indpependants scratching their heads when faced with citroen suspension. same a facelifted 05 for 2800 on carzone as well (well tempted by that) - if anyone has better news on the suspension i would be interested because those c5's seem to be massive bargains at the moment

    facelifted (i assume )1.6 hdi http://www.ryanmotorpower.com/used-cars/Citroen/C5/1.6-HDI/36513690508630950/

has to be missing doors or something for that price though seeing as no photos

I think everything posted in this thread could potentially be a heap of rubbish, so it would need a going over. It'll be sold in a couple of hours no doubt!

It's a big ol petril Jag that no one wants as the tax is too high and petril costs would cripple wallets nationwide, so not much of a demand on such a car. Chances are it'll need a small bit of tlc but at that price who cares!

    Sorry Colm :o

Just looking at the others on DD, they seem to be around 1.5-2k some in worse condition.

Dead right, must sell mine for tiny money before it gets nicked.
Only crippling aspect is the tax and that one has loads.

45mpg??? Hes telling big fat porkies there anyway or else he'd want to check his calculations again. Still, an awful lot of car for the money if all checks out...
