clock from the US - 120v 60Hz adaptor/transformer needed

I bought the adaptor from Malpin - but my clock loses 10 minutes every hour. Turned out I ll need a transformer that does 120v 60Hz BUT the clock rely on the electric power cycle i.e. 50Hz in Europe, 60Hz in the US? That clock is designed for deaf people (and NOT cheap!) so what can I do??? :-(

You could possibly source an inverter to change the frequency from 50 to 60 Hertz, but it probably wouldn't be cheap, and would be relatively bulky also.

Could you bring it to a watchmaker, who may be able to either replace the motor or just a sprocket to compensate for our slower frequency.

Either way I don't think the solution will be cheap!
