This puts trivial questions like 'What is the meaning of life?' and 'Are we alone in the Universe?' into proper perspective.

A carer who looks after somebody who is in hospital.

She has to pay for parking, water and coffee.

And she has to stop the patients from eating bread wrapped in plastic.

    In a nutshell.

So todays topic is hospitals in general.

    General hospital ;)

Does she get paid from this as I say I've come late to the party? What are the nurses doing while she's doing this?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,966 ✭✭✭✭syklops

Excuse my ignorance, but wy can't a nurse do what this lady is doing? It doesn't sound like she is giving any specialist care.

I wonder who pays her wages.

I think there are nursing assistants to work like make beds, clean give out tea etxc, a qualified nurse doing this sort of work is a waste of resources.
