I think mine made it to parcel motel just before 7pm. Anyone know what time they ship out to the pickup locations at?

I've got a couple of things delivered to them and they have all arrived in the pickup location at about 9pm. However, they would have arrived at the depot in Belfast in the early afternoon so you may be too late for today. Depends on where you are though.

    In short, I've no idea!

Hey don't worry about delivery updates. It's dispatched and already on route, so at least we know we're getting one.

Angry worded emails often get filtered out and automatically deleted by the littkewoods email system. If you haven't got a reply in 24hrs then your email has been deleted I'd imagine.

There was no foul language, just that I wouldn't be ordering again or recommending to others.

With Littlewoods, how long does it take from being despatched to actually being delivered?

Why? They haven't missed their anticipated delivery date yet. Also you've got to take into consideration that this is a a much sought after item that is probably in very short supply with all retailers.

In all fairness to Littlewoods they haven't really let anyone down yet, whereas many other retailers have. I have had 4 other orders cancelled due to other retailers not having sufficient stock, whereas Littlewoods have delivered so far (excluding Very).

Also I wouldn't be surprised if some of the later orders are actually unfulfilled/cancelled due to no further stock being available. Unfortunate though that would be, it's a likely scenario for those who probably missed the boat and ordered too late in the day.

Anyhow hopefully yours will be dispatched today or tomorrow.

    What are you whinging about?

You got into the deal very late. Lots of people who ordered around the 2nd-3rd only just got dispatch notices yesterday. You are further back in the queue, tough luck.

Cop on to yourself with your 'angry' emails, the people in Littlewoods are just doing their job, they can't conjure stock out of thin air.

Is it fastway that deliver for littlewoods? Mine was dispatched yesterday but I'm away for a few days at the start of next week which is when I presume it's going to arrive. Want to try and avoid it getting sent back to littlewoods after all this!

Best place to currently order one? Wouldn't mind waiting a month or so.

Ordered off blackwells two weeks ago, and it was cancelled.

    Eh, why?
They actually seem to be the most reliable out of all the places that were ordered from. have had mine cancelled in all the rest after weeks of delay.

Where is Littlewoods shipping them from?

Looks like the UK yes. I think they drive in circles around middleton for over time.

From their warehouse in Oldham usually. Delivery is usually expected in 3 days from dispatch.

To answer the previous posters question, if you are away, fastway will usually hold onto your parcel for 7 days and try delivering it 3 times before sending it back.

In the UK. I think that is Midleton with one 'd' in Cork.

Thanks to the OP picked up a NOOK from Littlewoods last week, trying to purchase books from the Nook website etc but can't do so as I don't have a UK credit card etc. Tried putting in a UK address but still no joy. Why are Littlewoods selling these products if we can't purchase books etc.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,502 ✭✭✭chris85

Placed order on the 3rd, down as processed on the 7th, hopefully will be dispatched soon enough.

Will probably root for kindle when I get.

Because 99% of items are bought for their UK market (Littlewoods, Isme, Very, K&Co etc.). They also lost a small fortune on having to accept returned TVs due to not advertising saorview compatabilty.

As has been said the best option I'd imagine is rooting it for the kindle store.

You can use free software called Calibre with the Nook. That's what my hubby did. He got books in ePub format which the nook is compatible with and used calibre as the software to upload them. It's very easy. You just need to find a good source to purchase ebooks from (some you can get for free e.g the dl rathdown county council library page has some free ebooks)

Calibre also can convert the format of ebooks to ePub so you can add them to the reader, if you have trouble buying books that are in different formats.
