If you are repeating a year and you fail an assessment are you allowed to resit the assessment??

99% sure you can, but some modules might be excluded from this.

It all depends on the module in question, best bet is to contact your lecturer.

Correct... There are 3 category's of modules and it depends on which one yours is. The mod spec should say so, otherwise ask lecturer.
    • Category 1: A resit is available for all elements of the module
    • Category 2: No resit is available for 100% CA module (this module must be taken as a repeat in the next academic session)
    • Category 3: No resit is available for the CA element (must resit exam even if passed exam already)

The module allows resit but I wanted to know if you are in a repeating year, if you are allowed to take resit assessment or exams?

Yes, it's the same as a normal year.
