Enjoyable game that, though the way the different endings are used just frustrated me beyond belief & didn't seem all that intuituive
I was trying to play it a few weeks and it kept crashing, very annoying after spending ages deciding what to play
It wasn't a bad price for it brand new, hopefully I'll enjoy it

Excellent, didn't think this would arrive as Game's website had put up a big 'UK only' warning after I had pre-ordered. But arrive it did, and by Nightline courier and all! Quite impressed by Game's site actually, will order again etc...

It was a Game exclusive pre-order deal. Apparently you can still get it in their physical stores, which of course isn't much use here in .ie.

    Edit: it begins - http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Persona-4-Arena-12-Yellow-Limited-Vinyl-LP-Original-Soundtrack-/251273313908?pt=UK_VideoGames_Merchandise_RL&hash=item3a810e7e74

went into Retropolis for the first time today, it's very small but a nice selection of games, none of your usual shovelware.
and the guy actually knows a bit about games which is a nice change from other places.
it's a bit like a smaller scale version of what Steve's shop would be like.

in end I bought Gunbird, Discworld 2 (ps1 version), and KOF '96 (Saturn NTSC-J).

hey I was there too!, had a good chinwag with the guy (sound fella, knows his stuff!)and picked up a nice SMS game that was missing from the collection.
Also picked up a psp (cheers achilles) which needs a bit of screen related TLC , so hopefully I'll pick up a replacement one(screen) in the next week or two..

Very nice Casey. Must have cost a pretty penny. Presumably you didn't have to go up against stv? :pac:

I'll have to check that, I have a tendency to put games in the wardrobe to add to the backlog, and then forget I had bought them.

I paid STV tax on the rare as Hens teeth Esp.Ra.De art ( Y7600) but not to bad , strangely enough he bought the next set for sale and for a lot more ( over Y 11000 ).

I still wanted to return the favour and gave him some Casey tax on other art I had no interest in, that worked perfectly but bit me in the ass with the Batrider art ( Y 2610)

No STV to be seen on lovely complete Dragon Blaze with kit poster and extra marquee ( Y 3610) and an incredible cheap and rare DoDonpachi ( Y 5640 ):D

Thanks to Sera and here awesome Mojib-Ribbon purchase, and not wanting to look like a copy cat, I bought me a copy of Vib-Ripple, incoming from the lovely folks at Hit Japan.
I will pick up Mojib-Ribbon at a later date, natch.
    Too many games right now!

I kinda feel I got screwed on Adverts, I know, incredible!

I agreed with a fella €22 for Mario Galaxy 2 posted from an Irish address.
Then I was going to collect it but it was going to be too awkward, so after some tooing and froing decided on the post.
The he says, with this and that would I mind €23, covering the various costs, then sending a message breaking them down for me.
I pay, cover the paypal costs, the game ends up costing me €24 and I feel like a gobsh1te!

I just don't like this sob story crap about charges and costs, if they felt that they were getting the crappy end of the stick they should have charged more for it in the first instance, instead of loading it, by however little, at the other end.

This happened recently on ebay and now on Adverts, quite maddening.

And, as I said, I paid anyways, that game is selling for €35 everywhere as it is.

I was going to nip into Retropolis but that'll have to wait until next payday now!

If the agreement was to collect and then he decided you had to pay for mail instead, he should have covered the Paypal costs. That's ridiculous.

so he breaks the rules, you break the rules with him, and then complain when someone makes an official offer of the asking price? where's that tiny violin of mine?

There's no violin required, just saying he messaged me and I said ok, should I have posted on the ad that he messaged me or not messaged back or reported it? and btw i'am not complaining in the slightest, merely stating that's the way adverts is.

I dunno, was it specified on the ad that €22 was the price posted, or collected? If it was only for the collected price, its normal enough for postage to be extra no? Any ads I've made in the past have always been postage extra & if the buyer prefers to use paypal then they can cover the costs of that too.

If it was too awkward for you to collect, thats not the sellers prob really...or am I missing something man? :)
I was going to nip into Retropolis but that'll have to wait until next payday now!

    Because of €2? :P

We agreed on a price of 22, including postage.
Then we went through a to and fro of picking it up.
That wasn't to be so I said to him I'd just have it posted instead.
Then the price became 23, and I caught the PayPal charges, though he went on to break down his own costs, including PayPal charges!
    Paid anyways :(

My lousy taste in video games continues!
Nipped into Cex today, traded in the excellent Bioshock Infinite, Halo 4 and the awful Reality Fighters.
Got the princely sum of 67 to spend elsewhere in store.
    Bought the following
Lumines for the Vita, I pretty good.
Wipeout 2048, also for the Vita, pretty good too.
Gears of War 3, 360 and a game I never bought before, I'm told it's not bad.
And lastly, just to confirm the poor filtering I possess in games purchasing,
    Space Marine for the 360!
I know, I know, it's a poor 3rd person shooter, but I like the setting...
I passed on Uncharted 3, can get it for less in Xtravision, if I can find one still open that is!

    Shhh!
Agreeing with me can get you a most dreadful reputation around here!
Just feign disapproval but secretly agree with me, it's safer that way!
I have a network of Golden Axe haters right here, under their noses, all afraid to come out of the closet....

I found that for €5 new in Xtra-Vision last year. Second best bargain I ever got there (the first was The Orange Box for €5). Both of my local xtra-visions are gone now...
