Check engine light on and car jumping

    Hi all, not sure if I'm in the right forum. I drive an 03 vw polo, and the engine light was on last week, bought a mini service from groupon for advance pitstop, so they did that and ran the diagnostic, the engine coolant sensor needed to be changed. Changed and light went off. Passed NCT Saturday. Car hasn't really felt right since they had it. So anyway, out in the car this afternoon, all fine. Few short journeys. Turned the car on to come home, went up a ramp and the car started to jump at the top. Light came back on. Jumpy all the way home especially when stopped. If I kept going it wasn't too bad. Any idea what this could be. Full tank of petrol. Typical that it happens on a Friday evening!

    Sounds like you have an air leak.

    Only way to find out is to get the car scanned for the fault code.

    Thanks for your reply! It was a coil, in and out of the garage in five mins and car back to normal thank god.
