sounds like a fairly sound move assuming there's no injuries in the final few minutes. (mata is coming on now)

2 main choices for me, evra/fellaini out

stick with my plans and go with dawson/hazard or else go with luiz/maloney

don't want to be swayed just by that strike by luiz there. Hazard has been subbed now so you'd assume he'll start versus united. David Luiz still playing despite being 1 booking away from missing the final, is this any sign that rafa will rest him at the weekend? you'd imagine he'd be taking him off with the booking in mind.

Hazard was taken off as he tweaked a muscle by the looks of it .....he pulled up slightly in the move before being subbed and was attended to when coming off.
The commentators did not make any reference to it though but I know what is saw !

oh cheers, i didn't notice that, only kinda half watching the match here. Luiz coming off now anyway, will wait to hear if there's any news on hazard but it would really make my decision a hell of a lot easier if there was doubts over his fitness for sunday.

Saw him point to it too , rafa only brought mata and Oscar is subs so if hazard carrying a slight knock could be on the benc

Can see hazard being on the bench sunday and starting wednesday.

that's exactly how i see it too, makes him a lot less appealing to get in at a 4 point hit, especially when maloney should start both. for people like yourself who already have him, he should get 120 minutes over the 2 games.
so think i might go down the luiz/maloney route rather than dawson/hazard at a 4 point hit.

or i could just do a straight swap evra to luiz and not take a hit for maloney but that would mean starting fellaini away to liverpool.

    very quiet here today.

Right i've decided on Luiz in for Evra.

Is it worth a 4 point hit to bring Maloney in for fellaini, sounds kind of a no brainer with fellaini playing so deep lately and away to liverpool where he's probably as likely to get sent off as he is to score but FFS reckons if gibson is fit fellaini will play off the striker again and he has west ham at home next week.
if it was a straight swap i'd do it no problem but not sure if it's worth a 4 point hit? anyone any thoughts?

    Quiet before the storm tomorrow

Most people have completed their transfers now and probably don't want any more info or temptations to take hits:rolleyes:

Want to swap Carzola out for Mata but can't bring myself to do it. He racked up 23 points away to Reading in December and although he has been quiet of late he could rack up a high tally against an already relegated QPR!!!!

I've been mulling over certain transfers all week and am thinking about just saving the transfer for next week? Opinions?
    Robles
    Nastasic - Baines - Vertonghen
    Mata - Maloney - Yaya - Michu - Bale
    Tevez - Lukaku
    Subs: DDG, Mirallas, Sagna, Turner

That's 10 DGW players and Baines. By saving the transfers and having 2 for next gameweek, I could really make a great impact next week too.

Anyone see a transfer that would make the above team better?

Personally I wouldn't, he seems to play more central without Giroud with Podolski having a natural tendency to drift out left. This is Carzola's best position with good potential for asists and goals.

Plus they have Wigan at home next week and Newcastle away GW38. Arsenal @ full throttle for CL and Carzola is a key player...

He has had a lot of transfers out recently and his price has plummeted. I am not getting on board though and am keeping for the rest of the season....

    Nope, really nice team

Robles (do Wigan keep clean sheets?) and Nastasic (probably one game?) don't inspire me, but absolutely nothing wrong with them considering DGW

You have a very strong bench too for next week too so I think you have covered all angles!

Looks like a really solid team. I'd save the transfer

What's your overall position in the rankings

    Thoughts on this?

Davies versus Wilson -> Walker at a 4 point hit.

I read on Fulham's twitter that Berbatov will be in the squad for Reading. Hmm, I was certain I'd be changing him for Kone/Lukaku/Defoe. Now i'm not so sure. Any thoughts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,657 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

that saves me the trouble of subbing him out if so.

    beautiful.

RVP may well be dropped now for the GW.

Am considering a major differential this week by not taking a points hit.
