New 911 Turbo revealed - Turbo S packs 560 hp!

The turbocharged 3.8-litre flat-six engine with direct petrol injection produces 520 hp in the 911 Turbo, and 560 hp in the Turbo S, with the latter lapping the Nürburgring-Nordschleife well under 7 min 30 sec.

Power is transferred to the drivetrain via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which enables an auto start/stop function with engine shut-off, improving fuel consumption by up to 16 per cent to 29.1 mpg.

With the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus it takes 911 Turbo 3.2 seconds to reach 0-62mph and 3.1 seconds for the Turbo S.
