I remember my neighbour coming in screaming crying. Mad how he affected people.

I thought it strange that there wasn't any mention of him. He was good fun and he died too young in tragic circumstances.

I think he had an engaging personality for radio; but he also could be horrible when things didn't go his way. I recall listening in when he had a quiz on his radio show and there was a mix-up with a question (surely not his fault), but the hostile condescension with which he treated the wronged player while righting the wrong was cringe-inducing and unprofessional. A minor blip but it is one of the only things I can remember about him now.

That said, he was a natural on tv early on; School Around the Corner was pleasant tv; but then he went on to do other half-arsed shows where he seemed to be uncomfortable.

    Why would there be really?

When he died sure it was all the people in boards HQ could do to stop After Hours exploding.

amazing how someone on such wodge could be skint and indebted, can happen of course, but give most people €500K a year and they'd be sorted.

Total and utter arse, but yet I'd still infinitely prefer to listen to his inane rants on the radio in the morning than Tubridy's.

The admiral in the cricket club, the cocaine and the celebrity death.

An abysmal role model to have such media and radio coverage.
An embodiment of the Celtic Tiger.
I despise Yuppies who fund drug dealing scum and cause untolled damage and carnage in the poorest Nations of the Earth.

A whack of a frying pan across the head would cure that.
