    Apologies - I'm used to that bog warrior trying to start arguments on a daily basis so forgive me for not seeing the funny side...

    @Fizman - I was thinking you might be able to replace Demel but your bench is pretty sh*te! Probably not worth it anyway as it's not worth a points hit to get someone else in. Demel's hit a good streak anyway, 2 assists and a clean sheet in last three games and they face struggling Newcastle.

    My brother and I have been in same FF League for 5 years. Every year he beats me. EVERY TIME! This year I am having a great year and three weeks ago I was 70 points ahead. Now, 3 disastrous captain choices in a row for me and the opposite for him, that gap is down to 5. Plus DGW 36, he has 7 players and I have 4 and Sessegnon, Suarez, Gervinho and Nastasic to shift.
    HELP! Give me a genius transfer for DGW so I can beat him just once..
    PS if this sounds desperate and pathetic- I AM

    Not sure how you managed to swing Harte as a goalkeeper.

    It's not what you want to hear, but you're in pretty awful shape. You need to start bringing in DGW players weeks in advance, otherwise you leave yourself way too short.

    Am I right in guessing he doesn't have Bale? Captain Bale and pray that the monkeyed one will once again produce the goods.

    You could maybe bring in Aguero or Yaya Toure, but they might not play both matches. Otherwise a Wigan attacker is an option too. Maloney and Kone are the best options.

    I know i am in awful shape. Was building to DGW but money was an issue without taking 4 pt hit. He doesn't have Bale but he has money in the bank and could buy for next week. I am worried about rotation issues with man city and Chelsea players. Wouldn't bother me so much except I am looking at a points hit so I really need to be guaranteed a return for who I buy.
    I had Harte from early in play so that's how I afforded him. My brother got 4 clean sheets last week. I hate him sometimes:D Neither of us in the money in local league but I just want to beat him this once

    How do you still have Suarez in your team, the reason why your buddy has caught up is probably because you've taken your eye off the ball,(tut, tut);) with this in mind you must have 2 free transfers, it's probably wise to take a chance on Aguero for Suarez, Maybe Lukaku for Berba, you could get lucky with your defence, you should probably take a chance on YaYa or Nasri in midfield, an 8 point hit will give you 4 transfers to get rid of Suarez, Sess, Felli and Gervinho, if Berba will play it's worth keeping him for the Reading match but that is a major doubt, captain Bale anyway and hope your buddy doesn't get him.

    I have 1.2 in the bank. You think an 8 point hit is worth it when I am just 5 ahead and I don't think he will take a hit

    Your looking at a combined total of 0-1 points for the week with Sess, Gervinho and Suarez, you prob have about a quarter of your money tied up in them and need rid, best time to do it is when your transferring in some DGW ers

    Ivanovic, Nastasic, Baines
    Mata, Maloney, Michu, Bale, Fellaini
    Lukaku, Aguero


    You will have
    1) More DGW players
    2) Better quality DGW players (more importantly) - Aguero >>>> Tevez, Lukaku >>>>Long, Bale >>>>Hazard
    3) A very solid squad for GW37 and 38, and you can get in Walcott GW37

    Similar to the other guy, there's a lot of work to be done there, the dgw is the time to do it. RVP to Aguero will give you money to improve defence, similarly Berba to Lukaku but I'd wait until Friday for info on Berba(he has a great fixture this week)
    The difference between Mata and Hazard is negligible so I wouldn't worry, Sissoko has a decent fixture so I wouldn't consider that urgent and you probably won't be playing him.
    Sagna has a good fixture, Davies a dgw, you need to bring in 2 more defenders Luiz might be a good one but you mentioned Verthongen, Dawson is still looking like a banker to play for Spurs so you could get lucky there or get 3 points from him, probably worth taking a chance if it's all you can afford

    I went with Mata myself. He picked up an assist at the weekend. Hazard takes pens but only if Lampard isn't on the pitch.

    Would you take a 4 point hit to go from Lambert to Lukaku? Have spare change to get in Benteke aswell but has that ship sailed?
