Any mechanics out there know what could be causing a rattle sound from the steering column of a Mazda 6? I noticed it last week when I was driving into my estate. I only hear it at low speed or going over a bump. The only way I can describe is that it sounds like a loose cylinder that's rattling around in the steering mechanism.

Ya just jack her up climb under and try recreate the noise be careful use axle stands if you can. Could be some bushes hows the tracking could be track/tie rod end try push down on the wings to see if shocks are very springy they should compress then rise and settle in one fluid movement.
