I have a 2005 Peugeot 307 1.6 Diesel that has never caused me any issue's, but now for some reason when I start car up and go somewhere and then turn ignition of then try turn back on the ignition straight away the car will not start
when I go to start her again nothing happens, but when I try again in about 20 minutes or so she starts, this has happened about 3 times and know next time she may not start, the battery light sign is the fault showing but can't see how this can be issue as battery been charged when driving and car starts first thing in the morning etc, cheers don't wont to buy a battery and then realize that not the issue,

Could be the alternator or could be the battery. Batteries usually last around 5-6 years and yours has been going for 8.
