Anyone find Gruden's QB Camp with Barkley or Lattimore online yet? These were much easier to find last year, looks like the guy who put them up on YouTube hasn't done so this year unfortunately.

Watched the Barkley one this morning. Two things were clear: the kid knows his sh!t, and Gruden was very impressed, both by his knowledge, and his arm (post injury).

The Geno Smith one was on after it, and Smith looked nervous and edgy in comparison. Not a big deal, but Barkley definitely looked more comfortable in his own skin.

If I were the GM of a team without an elite QB, I would fcuking jump at Barkley. The kid is going to win a ring. I'm certain. He's got the Joe Montana's or the Tom Brady's about him.

But did you see him in the classroom with i think, Mike Mayock on NFL Network? Looked like he didn't know his ****, couldn't even draw up his most used play in college reversed

I saw 5 minute clip of Barkley n Lattimore this morning on Gruden QB camp. Obviously Barkley comes across really well but Lattimore actually impressed me more. A really determined guy with a really good attitude

Yep, Geno Smith rightly messed it up.
    I meant Barkley. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qWVn-I7P20

That'll do. I practically use 3/4 of my holiday entitlement at work to take a random assortment of Mondays/Tuesdays/Fridays off between September and December :o

I feel the opposite, can't really get excited about this year's draft. Not commenting on the players you mention, but I've heard this years draft class being summed up as pretty deep in good solid players especially on both lines, but no real superstars. Perhaps this is why I think it lacks some of the excitement of recent years, without a really top class QB, running back or wide receiver, there is little chance that any of the top picks will single handedly turn a franchise around in the way that a top QB, RB or WR might.

I don't doubt that having a top left tackle, dt or de is desirable, but they don't excite in the same way that Luck or RGIII did. I can't help feeling that 2013 isn't going to be the best year to have a top ten pick and many teams seem to feel the same with rumours that at the very least, the Chiefs, Jaguars, Raiders and Browns would be very receptive to trade offers. I would imagine its been a while since so many of the top picking teams were so anxious to trade down probably due to a lack of players with real premier talent worthy of a top 5 pick.

With a draft class that is so deep but even in quality, there will be real value to be had in rounds 2-4 and thats where the most interest will lie and why trading down seems so attractive.

Robert Mays from Grantland interviewing Barkley. Good interview. Mays when he does interviews usually asks some good questions. Wont affect stock or anything but you get to see the relaxed side of the player he interviews.

Mike Mayock's conference call if anyone wants to listen:

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000161115/article/what-we-learned-from-mike-mayocks-conference-call

It goes on for a little over 2 hours. Skip to 5 minutes in to the start of Mayock, the first 5 minutes are just production notes from NFL Network reps. If you want a brief analysis the below is what NFL.com have put up with regards to the conference call:
Here are the other best nuggets we learned from Mayock:

» Geno Smith to the Buffalo Bills? Don't bet on it:

"I don't think Geno Smith makes sense in Buffalo. I saw him play in cold weather in the bowl game, I saw him play in cold weather at Iowa State, and I don't see him fitting in an outdoor arena in Buffalo," Mayock said.

» Mayock said the Arizona Cardinals can't stay put if they want the third-best tackle in the draft.

"I have trouble seeing Lane Johnson getting to Arizona clearly."

Mayock said Johnson had the "freakiest" combine performance in the last 10 years. That's a good thing. He believe Johnson has unlimited upside.

» Miami (Ohio) quarterback Zac Dysert is expected to be drafted around the fourth round, according to Mayock. Oklahoma's Landry Jones also was mentioned as a fourth-rounder.

» Alabama's D.J. Fluker is a top-15 pick, according to Mayock. He doesn't think Fluker will even be there for the Miami Dolphins at No. 12. The San Diego Chargers, picking at No. 11, don't have a "starting tackle" on their roster, according to Mayock.

» Mayock sees Boise State cornerback Jamar Taylor as a "starting cornerback" in the NFL. Mayock sees him going in the second round.

» Syracuse's Ryan Nassib also was pegged as an early second-round pick. Mayock believes Nassib needs the right talent around him to start in the NFL.

» Georgia's Jarvis Jones and Texas A&M's Damontre Moore are two names to watch with the New Orleans Saints.

» On Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert: "I think interest in (Notre Dame TE) Tyler Eifert begins at 13 with Tampa Bay"

» On the draft's depth: "There's probably 25 to 35 more draftable players this year than last year. Most depth I've seen in a while."

» Mayock was asked what wide receiver he could see the Patriots take in the second or third round: Clemson's DeAndre Hopkins and USC's Robert Woods came up.

It's crazy over 100 journalists queue up to ask Mayock a question. Love the man and his opinions

to be honest as an eagles fan this season has been so traumatic i fear i may be overhyping the draft as a way of looking for a positive from last year

by the way chip kelly will be a great coach no doubt but iv heard some eagles fans (only a minority mind) put us down for a superbowl this year how crazy is tha eagles fans bug me some timest.
if anyone else is looking for reading material its worth reading a few articles on his traning methods a lot of the players feel its gona be the norm in the league in a few years time

Who's thinking about possible trades in the draft???

I'm thinking if i'm the jags/raiders gm i could probably afford to trade out cause there really is no absolute stud player who is going to turn the franchise around. I could be better off trading out and getting a bunch of other picks, which is what you want in this draft. This draft's got depth, serious quality to be had in the 2nd and 3rd. Maybe Miami/Arizona/Chargers jumps up to get a tackle?

Jags won't be trading unless they can pick up multiple picks. At this stage we don't need a stud who can turn the franchise around, well, obviously we do but we would still have massive holes everywhere, we need 5 or 6 players who can come in and start NOW. Expect DE, QB and CB to be addressed in the first few rounds. Then a LB and a Safety needs to be picked up, possibly another lineman and some TE depth late on.

I can see 2 options for the titans. If Warmack and cooper are both there at 10 they could trade down, rumours already they could trade down for one of the rams 2 1st round picks along with a second, a drop of 10 places I think.

Likely Warmack or cooper would still be there. At that point if there's a top DE left trade back into the 1st round using the 2 seconds.

Looks like the Jets will have picks 9 and 13 in the first when this Revis trade to to Tampa Bay happens.

Guys, I've been following the Mock Draft you are doing in a different thread and don't want to de-rail it.

You are up to around pick 46, so well into round 2 at this stage.

Couldn't help but notice that at this stage, Manti Te'o hasn't been picked yet.

We all know about the off field incident and indeed he wasn't in the best shape at one of the first combines, but he has come back in better shape.

This same guy was on for the Heisman (rightly or wrongly for a D) and was supposed to go in the Top 5 prior to the incident and the final against Bama. How can his stock drop so low?

Surely he's still worth a late 1st round pick?

I agree with you and I think he will be gone by this stage in the actual draft. When he was talked about as a top 5 pick he was being overrated, but I think now he's possibly being underrated by people. At worst I'd expect him to go early second.

The boards mock has gone pretty well so far and I think all the picks made make sense, however come draft day there will be trades and teams will have completely different grades on the players than we have. For example I picked Fluker at 39 overall, I will be very shocked if he's still there at that stage in the actual draft. Menelik Watson still hasn't gone in our mock while he's being talked about as a first round option in the actual draft. No RBs have gone in our draft and I'd be surprised if that happened in the actual draft.

Te'o could be worth a 1st round pick but we see it every year with players who drop & who is to say he won't. He is an ILB which isn't a premier position.

Also have seen a few reports in the past couple of days that have seen Cooper n Warmack slide down with Fluker being pushed up.

I think people are picking guys that fit well with the teams.

I actually wouldn't be too surprised if no RB went in the 1st. Eddie Lacy doesn't seem to stack up to recent 1st round RB's. He lacks burst and you have to wonder how much of his production was down to that all-star o-line.

I agree lacy will prob be a serviceable back but that o line was pretty much nfl quality very hard to stop the run with them I think even I could have gained a few yards behind them

I could see no rb being taken till late 2nd
