looking to bring water into the garage nd can't seem to find where the water enters the house I've located the valve under the sink for turning it off, but don't see any stopcocks or shores around the house which would give me an idea. country location with 4 other houses in an estate, don't see shores on there properties either, any tips or advise welcome, I even had a go at dowsing today with some coat hangers to get the spot :D

Wait for the Water Meters to arrive and you will know where it is.

Seriously though, If it's an estate the Council will have drawings showing all the services.
However Water mains are usually run under the Drive as there is less chance of them being dug up or pierced by Digging.

If the driveway runs along the side of the House where the Kitchen is then it's most likely there.

Again if you have raised Floors then you should able to see it if you lift a board.

Maybe if you check with some of your neighbours they know where they might be able to help.

thanks for the reply. ye water meters will be precise I'm sure. I'll have gold plated pipes with Evian coming out of the taps lol.
the houses are all detached and in a line with each other facing a green. the kitchens are the opposite side of he entrances of the houses if that make sense. I'll see if there anything on the plans maybe to show

If the Builder is still around he may also be able to help. It's odd being an estate that no Keyhole Shores are visible as I think they are required by Building byelaws.
