    Yet other managers, players and coaches havent been pulled up on cursing during matches. The rule may have been there for a while but how its been enforced is farcical

    I think if you went back years there probably have been. It doesn't mean the rule is should not be changed though

    Oh and congrats on winning the league

    I've never heard disciplinary action for cursing in similar circumstances to what happen Lennon and neither have you. If a rule is to be enforced strictly, it should apply to everyone not just when it suits.

    Double now would be the icing on the cake, hope Brown is fit, but he'll need some game time before the final if he is to play.

    Delighted for Lenny and the team, he's had a great season, especially with Europe.

    Hope we can hold on to our most important players, I expect Hooper and Wanyama to be gone, but would like to keep the rest of the guys, esp. Commons, Ledley, Forster, Stokes, Sammy, Brown, Mulgrew, Wilson and a few others. If they can replace Hooper and Wanyama with similar potential stars, it'd be even better.

    Cheers all, have a good rest of today!

    Great to wrap the league up in style, been a bit of a mixed season in the league but that was to be expected with no real challenge.

    Proud of the team and their performances in Europe, we have a very good squad of young players and it will be interesting to see what transfer activity there is over the summer.

    Hopefully now we'll see a few players get a chance in the team before the cup final, we have a great opportunity to test players but need to keep some momentum coming up to the final.

    I'm off for a beer to celebrate, hope all the rest of you bhoys enjoyed your day

    Talk of several players getting holidays (not all at the same time though) before the cup final so I'd expect lots of changes. Quite a few of the squad players need to start putting down their markers. Quite a few players, i want to see more of.

    Hoopers choice of words were interesting, he was talking about next season and wanting to be part of it and then gave the "We'll see" line when asked directly about his situation. Lennon comments hint towards the club being unwilling to break the wage structure to keep him because it could damage team spirit. The final contract offer should make him one of if not the top earner at the club imo because he's hit 20+ goals every season here and will get better bar injury.

    So lads, would you want Hooper to stay or go?

    Most Celtic fans would have been happy to cash in on him based on his performances over the last couple of months, he's looked like his head was elsewhere and that he just wasn't trying hard enough. But then today reminds us of what he can do, and he definitely looked hungry for it today.

    I'm undecided tbh, don't think I'd be either totally gutted if he left, or totally delighted if he stayed. If a huge wedge of silly money came rolling in from some mid-table EPL club, I'd be happy to take it on the proviso that a suitable replacement was found.

    The situation with his contract has definitely effected his form but the main question is it a case that he wants a really good contract offer from Celtic or does he just want to move to the EPL now and will only stay because Celtic offer him a ridiculous contract? At least he didnt look a dejected figure like Stan Petrov did during a title celebration so I retain hope that the right deal can be struck.

    Having 3 rounds of European qualifiers seems to play havoc with budgets and transfer policy. It could be August before Celtic decide to offer a contract or sell which would be a dangerous game to play by the board.

    Hooper will be sold. Strange considering today he scored 2 excellent goals and yet he could not hit a prostitute in a brothel over the last 6 weeks or so!

    Fantastic goals from Ledley and Samaras. I thought Stokes was unlucky and I also spotted the going through the motions celebration between Stokes and Lennon at the end.. that surprised me a little

    Hooper we can live without I feel, particularly if we bring in a good target man. In fact I think we might be better as a team with a TM, even if the player himself isn't better than Gary.

    It reminded me of this

    but not as bad. :pac:

    Even Stokes himself says that he doesnt have the best relationship with Lennon but I wouldnt be worried about it either. Lennon made a joke about the amount of fines given out to Stokes 2 seasons ago at a charity function and yet he's still here! Stokes wants to stay and Celtic want to offer him a contract so thats good enough for me.

    A bit ropey in the first half I felt, but switched up a gear in 2nd half and put on a Championship winning performance.

    AFTER a magnificent season of success at home and abroad, Celtic announced today that it is to make a sincere thank you to supporters for their wonderful commitment, by giving a one-off reward of £100 off the cost of a standard adult season book for next season.

    The overwhelming success of the club’s 125th anniversary season means that the club is in a position to make this significant one-off gesture.

    The club will also be introducing a range of fresh new season book prices for kids and a new family layout within the stadium:

    * U-13 years - £50: Just £2.38 per match
    * 13-16 years - £105: Just £5 per match
    * 17-18 years - £186: Just £8.86 per match
    * Purchasing one adult and two child (U13) season tickets means all three can attend a 2013/14 match at Celtic Park for the equivalent total of £22.19 per game.

    .......

    Smart move by Celtic

    Yes it's a smart move. Attendances were falling in the league home games due mainly to the recession but also to the fact that the league this season was by enlarge a procession from start to finish. Both of those factors will probably continue to be the case for the next few seasons, so it's important to keep the stadium as filled as possible and keep a lively atmosphere at Parkhead for home games.

    Still on a high after Sunday. It was expecially sweet to win it with such a good performance and some nice goals. Great day all round. Good days to be a Celtic Man:D
