It's a game, if anything it suits the PC better because of it's humongous size. But it is true that consoles are were the biggest amount of money is. As it's already a multiplatform game I don't see why they always leave PC users hanging.

To prevent piraters lads, tis fairly obvious as to why PC gamers are left hanging, no doubt millions would just download the game illegally rather than buying it.

Didn't the PC version of San Andreas come out a year later?

Of course piracy on the Xbox 360 or PS3 doesn't exist at all :p

It does but not on a large scale compared to the PC version ;)

It's a whole lot harder to do. Unless you plan on doing it a lot, it isnt really worth the effort. A PC game can be done in a few minutes (excluding download time) with minimal expierence.

I don't really pirate PC games, they're cheap enough that the hassle of pirating games makes it just as easy to buy it legally through online sources.

There's plenty of models out there on the PC market, but those are constantly improving games. Maybe it doesn't suit the studios that like to release a game and then leave it at that.

Wasn't GTA IV impossible to pirate for a few months after release? Well, you could crack it but ended up drunk 100% of the time as a result.

With things like Steam, I really think the low price is worth it to avoid the hassle of cracking.

huh? You mean the camera would be blurry 100% of the time?

If this is true, I want to meet the programmers at R* and buy them a pint for that stroke of genius. :D

    Yeah it's 100% true

Aye. I bought the game because my new apt at the time had no internet connection, so I couldn't play WoW. Then found out that GTA IV needed a connection to Live, so spent an hour in a net cafe researching 12 months worth of forum posts of people getting angry that they couldn't crack it :)

Interestingly they mention Blaine County as if it's a significant location on the map.
Of course many other modes of transport will also be available to accommodate your travel needs across Los Santos and Blaine County on September 17th...

It's probably the general name for the countryside locations.

    Los Santos = City
    Blaine County = Countryside

Someone on fb linked me to an interesting reddit post about some of the artwork having different kinds of aircrafts in nearly each one.
    Its pretty interesting.

(even more so after my post last year about how the trailers and most of the initial screenshots all had the blimp in the them. I'm too lazy to go find it now. :o)

Maybe some of the San Andreas airplanes will be making a reappearence. Come to think of it, I can think of at least two of them that I never bothered flying in:confused:

The two on the right are just basic plane shapes, they don't even have engines, one doesn't have tail wings. So I doubt they're supposed to be representative of actual planes in the game.

Is anyone else finding it very difficult to be at all enthused by the latest releases of screens/artwork for V?

I couldn't think about anything but GTA at the start of the year, but the delay completely killed it for me. :(

It's good to see they're making progress and I still look forward to playing it and hoping it'll be as good as IV (far and away the best of the series in my opinion) but I just feel completely indifferent to the game lately. Surely I can't be alone?

I'd agree. Up until the delay announcement I was really excited, but since then it's kind of been put on the back-burner in my mind and I think the only thing that will get me excited again is actual gameplay footage.

That said, I've no doubt that by August it'll be fever pitch again, but for the next few months I won't be giving much thought to GTA tbh, especially with the next gen console rumours/reveals/releases coming around.

I'm starting a new job next week and cant tell you how happy I am that i'll be finished training and all that goes with it before I get to play this. :pac:
So I'm quite happy at the delay. I know it seems quite jammy for me but I still wish it was out now because the wait is killing me now.

I never get all that excited about artwork, it has little to do with the game in my opinion. Gameplay trailers are all that will satisfy me now.

The Goals and the Pledge of Epsilon will continue to be revealed in due time.

The Epsilon Program does not exist in just one time or place. We invite you to visit one of our enlightenment centers.

Directions will be provided in one week's time.

The last line being interesting. Possible updates next week look likely.

I don't get it. Surely any trailer would be stock game footage, not something filmed with real people/places?
