Here is the latest CoolTVGuide for OE2.0 sh4, I have not gone trough all features, but the first impression is "is working"

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21680036/G%D0%9C990/enigma2-plugin-extensions-cooltvguide_Coolman_V6.4.0_sh4.ipk

I'll try to add it to the standard AR-P plugin feed.

From the Plugins Menu, I tried installing AutoTimer too and it says Extensions/AutoTimer(No module named Screenpage) in the plugins section.

It has a dependency on webinterface plugin, install webinterface ad try again.

    Hi guys,

In your opinion, how does this OpenAR-P image compare to the HDMU image? Is it more stable? More responsive? Or just about the same?

Had an issue with recording so decided to reformat my USB key but now when I try to run mkfs.ext3 -L RECORD /dev/sda1, its not working.

Getting "mkfs.ext3: No such device or address while trying to determine filesystem size"

The box is seeing the usb key when I go into hardisk in menu though. Its a kingston Datatravel 8Gb key

    Any ideas?

Why do you think that your USB drive will appear as /dev/sda1 ? did you check what dmesg says?

Is it mounted as sda2 or some other? It should be listed at the end the output of the "mount" command.

You could format it to fat32 in Windows and try to mount and format it to ext3 again with the box.

Not sure on the spark firmware, but on enigma change all eps values to a bigger value 45 in /etc/lircd.conf, 50 I found a bit instable on some GM boxes, this will increase IR receiver sensibility on the box.
can you give a little more info on this or upload an updated version on the file with better values?

    where do I check that?

I have it formatted to fat32 in windows and when I try initialize it with box, I get "initializing storage device...Error: Timeout elapsed, sorry" error

Run the mount command in telnet should show you where it's mounted

So can I just delete the openwebif plugin and then download the webinterface plugin from the plugins menu ?

OpenAR-P to me is better. No lag when changing Terrestrial channels. Not nearly the same amount of lockups for me. The change for the remote control sensitivity was already done. Once stuff like AutoBoquets, CoolTVGuide and the PLi-HD skin are added to their plugins for downloading, more less experienced users could give it a go.

If I get everything working the way I want, I'll take a full image copy and post it here.

hmmm, not sure whats going on so..

I've just tried to manually change the location of recording paths and get "the directory /autofs/sda is not writeable" as well, so something not correct

EDIT: Fixed this issue, booted into spark and used that to format and setup the usb
Once back into enigma, just ran commands again

Does anyone here know if theres an option for the audio to default to AC3 Eng, rather than the current audio stream for visually impaired? I know that I can select the required audio stream by using the yellow button, but was wondering if theres a setting somewhere to avoid having to do that with each tv channel. I'm running the latest version of HDMU,btw.

Also, I've noticed a bug when accessing my NAS media storage through HDMU Media Centre. When I browse to the mounted shared folders they're not visible at first and the box crashes. On rebooting it finds the shares straight away.

Edit: I figured out the audio selection issue. There's a setting under auto audio selection that can be changed.

Here I put a bitbucket repo with CrossEPG and CoolTVGuide ipk for sh4 platforms for the moment, they'll be added to AR-P plugin feed, but they can be used in other images like hdmu

Don't bother with the Media Centre - when watching a channel, just press the Play button and it will give you your list of recorded programmes. From in there, you can then delete them

Looks like AR-P doesn't like WebInterface. I couldn't remove OpenWebIf - it just threw a Green Screen. I set enabled = no which was then OK but with WebInterface installed and enabled = yes, when saving settings, it kept green screening. There was no http access, even after another fresh reboot.

There is some form of tie-in to OpenWebIf since my initial attempts were to simply rename OpenWebIf directory but the box green screened. It NEEDED to see the directory.

On a separate note, I finally got CoolTVGuide v6.4.0 oe 2.0 installed successfully (manually rather than using the Plugins Menu)

webinterface is needed for the sake of few files that is imported by the other plugin, you do not need to enable it

Do a search for eps, it's listed about 3-4 times, change all instances from 30 to 45
