What sort of line up would we go with? Really hope Commons is fit as he's in great form.

    ..............Forster
    Lustig Wilson Mulgrew Izaguirre
    Commons Wanyama Ledley Samaras
    .........Hooper Stokes

Big fan of Matthews but Lustig is solid and scored last week. If he's having trouble with GMS's pace then maybe bring on Matthews. The above is our best line-up but no doubt it will be Mulgrew up front and Stokes on the bench or some other madness.

Overall though I think it will be whether our players show up that decides how we do.

I'd go with that line-up, we'll need an attacking line-up from the off tomorrow. Can't remember the last time Lenny played Mulgrew at CB though. Really looking forward to this I have to say, but ****ting it at the same time.

Ledley and Commons are must-starts though, and delighted to have Wanyama as he'll be important for this game - need a big physical presence in the middle of the park. Ledley was class last week. Also agree Hooper and Stokes should start, they're good together and have had a good bit of game time together now.

Think it'll be really tight, with a slice of luck deciding it either way, hopefully our way. :)

Celtic better show up tomorrow. Our record in Hampden in recent times has been less than impressive. We need to go at Utd from the off, no half arsed performance hopefully.

    ...............Forster
    Lustig Ambrose Wilson Izzy
    Forrest Wanyama Ledley Mulgrew
    .........Commons Hooper

Good to see Forrest back but Stokes benched just so we can play Mulgrew as a winger, really now...

No Samaras either. Strange team he has picked there. I think we might be seeing some of the bench coming on. If he really wanted to play 1 up front - not necessary v Dundee United i reckon - then Stokes or Samaras is much better in that role than Hooper.

Our bench is three strikers, a midfielder and a keeper. Wouldn't catch me doing that on FM I tell ya.

He could have easily put Samaras out wide left but he wants a defensively sound player to help out Izzy who is abit hit and miss defensively. He could have dropped Hooper for Stokes but that wasnt going to happen.

Not surprised that Lennon has chosen to flood the midfield with 5 players and avoid going 3 at the back. He wants no surprises and for us to dominate the ball. I think set pieces will be key with Mulgrew and Commons very capable of delivering great ball.

3 attacking players on the bench means that he'll throw the kitchen sink at it if we're having a "Hampden".

    1 - 0 Commons! 2 mins on the clock

Poor from Utd, but I'll take it! Commons really enjoying it these days.

Yeah thought the 3 strikers on the bench a bit odd. Hope we don't lose a defender to injury! Suppose he has Mulgrew to put in there, but I'd say Lenny would play Sammy at the back before Mulgrew lol.

    Bad back pass from Lustig

What a save from Forster from the rebound shot

Wanyama's distribution of the ball is beginning to annoy me. He's holding onto the ball when he has a pass to a player in yards of space and he's trying killer passes when he doesnt need to be trying them.

What a miss that was hope they don't regret it later.

Feck's sake, should have been 2 up there.

LOL @ Lennon throwing the chewing gum off the ground

Lustig should be just hitting the target there, not looking for corners of the goal

How Hooper didn't get to it either is amazing.

Just like that, DUTD are back in the game from nothing.

    Punished for missing chances tbh

FFS. Celtic arsed about there, simple goal given away there for Utd. Players looking for a foul instead of keeping their eye on the game.

Wanyama fouled GMS there, lucky lucky lucky

Poor defending there, hope Lennon blasts them out of it at HT

Instant reply from Wanyama. Great cross and header

    Awful defending there!

Great goal then for Celtic, makings of a great game

    What a block from Wilson!

Jaysus, could easily end up more than the 7 goals yesterday!!

Great reply from Wanyama, but Celtic need to cop the fcuk on at the back. Really nervy so far.

Far too casual from Celtic this half. Losing possession from a throw in like that, just really poor. Hope Lenny tears into them at HT and lets them know the fans expect a double.

Mulgrew doing my head in today.

Very sluggish from Celtic and they seem to be getting worse as the day goes on!

Far more hunger shown from Dundee United despite their nervous start.

    I'd bring on Samaras

Just looking at the replays of Commons goal, it really was a brilliant individual effort

Lustig hasn't looked right for most of that half, I wonder will he change him. Short of options though. If anyone comes off for Samaras it should be Hooper. Posted missing again imo.

United should've got a pen there as well. Big 45 minutes coming up. Would be a huge anti-climax to the season if Celtic lose here today. Pressure on will be interesting to see how and who responds to it.

    Great team goal

No way that was handball, Commons didnt react until the ball hit him

Who's the co-commentator? It looks like it did hit Commons on the arm and went in off him that way. He didn't use his arm to control the ball. Probably nothing wrong with the goal. Better stuff in the 2nd half taking control of the game, will need another goal to see it out. Would like to see Samaras or Stokes on for Hooper who has been ineffectual.
