Any phones with a week long battery?

Hi,

Where can I get a basic phone that will last a week or so without a charge?

Features arent important, it doesnt have to be a smart phone at all. It'll be going to a family member in a third world country with unguaranteed access to electricity, so the main feature required is a battery that will last days on end. Also, I'll have to either unlock it myself, or get it unlocked on the cheap somewhere.

Are these types of phones sold anywhere anymore?

I actually have a Nokia 5070 here beside me but its locked to O2. I tried using an online code calculator but it didn't work for the 2 codes (#1 & #7) that I tried.

Or, you could get a solar charger? Or a charge pack, or even a spare battery.

...and switch the phone off over night to save even more power.

Nokia 100 is very cheap and battery lasts a week even leaving it on over night

Another option is something like the landrover/ sonim which has a standby time of 1500 hours

i got a car battery trickle charger solar panel. i plug it into a car cigarette 2 way adaptor and put a car usb charger lead in the other socket which then charges the cellphone. Very handy for going camping or somewhere without electric.
