    As above, when I registered it was for the sole purpose of asking a few people about a particular car I was buying so picked bmwguy. I bought it, but I no longer want to be known as this name. I still love the cars, but think I sound like a bragger with the name. So whats the deal? Rename or delete and re-register? I'm thinking of calling myself "wrong forum" as I know this isnt the correct place to ask, but it is the busiest!!

    There's no such thing as stupid usernames, just stupid users...just kidding, there's loads of them.

    Jaysus, I can't even afford a bottle of cheap plonk at the moment so I won't subscribing anytime soon. Bleeding deposit and first months rent has left me mega broke. So I'll grin and bear my silly name.
    I have a couple of kilner jars of mince meat I made. Maybe I'll make some mince pies to cheer myself up.

    I'm half thinking of paying just to get rid of some of these damn a's! Logging in is literally a case of me guessing the length until I eventually get it right.

    Alternative;
    Delete the System32 file on your computer/laptop. System32 retains stuff like usernames for sites, so getting rid of it will let you change yours.

    I want to change my name too. Six years ago, the peasants revolted and I had to flee, losing my estate. I'm trying to lay low, but now everybody thinks I'm Larry Murphy

    Could we have a vote on humorous potential names to have their name changed to? That way, you're not letting them change their name, you're imposing a (hopefully) comic handle to which they would forever be tied. :D

    You could always start a list here. But only of those who want a name change. ;)

    eg: bmwguy could become carlos

    Admins should be able to change usernames. But they probably won't unless you subscribe. Still, a polite pm to one of them is probably worth a shot.
