DIY CV Joint Replacement?

My partner's 02 Corsa is making a noticeable clicking noise on full lock and it's fairly obvious that the CV joints will fail at some point. A couple of things:

- Is it a relatively easy DIY job? I have the usual tools, jack & stands, but the most I've done so far is a replacement thermostat & oil change.
- How do I find out which side is failing, or should I do both sides together?
- Where's the best place to go for parts?

is it clicking when you lock to the left or lock to the right?? is there a cv boot torn??

Not the easiest DIY but manageable, particularly if you have a mate to help.

But first have a look underneath and check for torn boot as said above.

Forgot about this thread. The clicking is from a droplink on the way out, the boots are perfect, surprisingly.
