Merchant Hotel Belfast - Parking

Hi guys,

Can anyone familiar with Belfast recommend a car park within close walking distance of the Merchant Hotel? I've only been to Belfast a couple of times, and know little or nothing about the various parking options.

I'll be parking from 08:00 - until about 13:00 on a weekday.

There are numerous options for you.

A quick search on Google for Car parking near merchant hotel belfast should give you a list of car parks available.

Alternatively if you are coming from Dublin you could get the Park and Ride from Sprucefield, the bus will drop you at the Europa Buscentre which is still within walking 10 minute distance of the merchant. This eliminates the need to look for parking and at that time in the morning the bus takes advantage of the bus lanes to beat some of the heavier trafiic in at 7.30am

I can't comment on which car parks would be full or what their prices are as I don't currently need to park in the city, but I hope it helps point you in the right direction.

If you're in by 8 then there should still be spaces in the Council run sites (these are cheapest). There's a large one on Fredrick St which wuld be around a ten minute walk tops to the Merchant. If you're coming from Dublin take the Clifton St exit from the Westlink, turn right, keep keft and it's ahead on your left.
