What mode should I play Civ5 on?

    Installed Civ5 5 today and when I start it up it asks if I want to use DirectX9, DirectX11or Windows 8. Obviously DX9 is out, but what's the difference between DX11 and Windows 8. It says windows 8 is recommended and touch enabled. It may only be recommended because of touch :/ I'm not playing on a touchscreen. I've a i5 3220m, 2gb 635m gt, 16gb ram, and its on a ssd.

    Pick the dx10 and dx11 option

    Presumably pick W8 if you have windows 8 and a touch screen?

    Otherwise pick DX11.

    I was looking at a thread about it on another forum. The windows 8 option moves stuff around and makes it difficult to play without a touch screen so, ill stick with DX11, thanks.
