Any one see any problem with running electric cables in conduit behind my 50mm kingspan tacked onto 1" battons on my external walls or is there any point in chaseing the wall to bury the cables? In my own opinion this is another advantage with drylining where you get free cavity for running cables etc

There's no problem with that at all.

I'd be sure to run the cables straight down or at 90deg angles though.

If you're mounting a socket on these walls you may want to put a stud in so the socket/switch box will fit flush with the plaster board. The inspector will check this if an inspection is required.

The wall will have kitchen wall cubboards mounted on it. I intend using 6" screws to give me 3" of hold into the concrete.
Good idea there with the studding for the sockets as I will have lots of them to put on.

Wires will be perfect in the condute.

Your wall units will be spot on hung like that but just be sure to use pink grip or gripfill aswell on your battons on the wall
