I wasn't sure where to post this query so mods please move if in wrong place
Has anyone any ideas what I can do.with an attic door that has my house frozen

Attic door is in ceiling in a bedroom. It has a stira attached. The attic is well insulated but there is such a draught coming down from the door

My husband put an old duvet there but I think the fact that the stira is attached to the door, pushed the duvet away if you know what I mean.

Has anyone any ideas, or advice please?

I saw one done where they built a box just above the stira and insulated the box. As you went up the stira you pushed the box open infront of you.. the box was insulated with the spares of the kingspan from the build..

    Crude but seemed effective..

Not sure if this is any use. Attic insulated hood.

You can get foam strip draugh ecluder. I have that all the way around the edge of the attic door.
I also have some of the attic insulation in two big plastic bags, taped into place in the 3/4 cm gap between the door and the attic stairs that is attached to it.
