Facebook pic linking to gmail

Hi,

I started up a gmail account to apply to jobs. I have a facebook account thats linked to my original hotmail account and not my gmail account. I also loaded up a profile pic to gmail. So why does my facebook profile pic show up on my gmail emails i.e receipitents from my gmail account see my facebook pic on the emails from me. How do i change this?

Anyone know? i have tried adjusting settings and googling for answers but to no avail.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Did you link your Gmail account with Facebook at any point? Moved to blogs, Social & wikis for you where it's more suited

yes when i first started the gmail account but i have since removed the account from my facebook emails. Is there no way of blocking the facebook pic?

I would say that check your Facebook account and find if it is still there, as Facebook allows using multiple emails, primary secondary and so on so be careful to it..

Make sure that your primary email is not gmail..
