Opening over Easter?

    Am I right, Bookies open Good Friday, Saturday and closed Easter Sunday?

    Thought they couldn't open Good Friday, they were looking to change the rules on Easter Sunday

    close Good Friday, Easter Sunday...and Christmas day by law.

    Not sure if any changes have been made for this year, they were looking to change the Easter Sunday rule esp with so much racing on that day.

    Closed Friday and Sunday.

    Yes, but people only care for the few days then move on with their lives before they are motivated to lobby for a change of law.

    The fact that we can ring them up on our phone or place a bet online makes a nonsense of the law.

    You think thats bad? Try living here in NI where the bookies arent allowed to open on any Sunday of the year, now thats Christianity gone Mad
