Using a friends SKY+HD Box in my home

I have two of the old White Sky Boxes. I have SKY Multiroomwith Sky Entertainment Extra. If I get my friends SKY+ HD box, would I be able to use it with all features in my home? Even if I ordered a new SKY+ HD Box to replace one....would I then be able to use my friends SKY+ HD box to replace the second one with all SKY+…

Would you be using your viewing cards? If so you won't have any bother, you will have call sky to pair up the card and box but will work fine

Thanks for that.

I take it when my friends contract is cancelled (they are moving and won't need SKY) that my second card needs pairing with their box as a second box?

I will need two SKY+ HD Boxes.
