The legend that is Jerry Seinfeld gracing the Late Late Toy Show with an appearance and Pat gets his name wrong and basically has no idea who he is. Pat treats him like he's another Xfactor winner doing the Xmas publicity circuit.

One of those rare moments you're embarrassed to be Irish.

I cringed so hard when Michelle Heaton fell or tripped during the car selling task in the Apprentice. Just sooo bad in front of the room full of people. Poor girl!

    The Angelus

    Republic of Telly

Irish football ''fans'' booing an LOI side playing Manchester United in a friendly match at the opening of the new Lansdowne Road a few years back,on RTE2.

Anything involving Daithi O Se or that ginger prune faced bitch!

Carol Coleman interviewing George W Bush is one I can think of. Talk about a massacre, the poor girl, maybe he wasn't as stupid as she thought he would be.

Bush is a political animal even with connections you don't become president of the USA if your're a total fcuking idiot. Daddy doesn't buy an undergrad from Yale and a Masters from Harvard. Bush has both and he is nowhere near as dumb as people think he is.

That 'House of Love' show that ran on RTE a few years back - where different couples competed to win a house in Mullingar. I don't think Sean Moncrieff's TV career has ever recovered. The whole thing was a cringe-fest from start to finish.

Or... the reality show that took place on a boat sailing around Ireland and had to be wound up early because the boat sank.

Enjoy the backlash and being mocked for your opinion

Why should I be mocked for expressing an opinion Wompa? Why not open your mind a little and research, don't listen to everything secondhand. Don't ever be a sheep.

God forgive me but I laughed til I cried at this, and then rewound it and laughed some more. It's so goddamn funny.

    I'm a bad person :pac:

What did he do? He was ambushed by Sinn Fein, dirty politics typical of the party. Sean Gallagher delivered donations for FF, he did nothing wrong, he broke no law.

Donations? Yea! He was the bag man for bribes. Eventhough FF had it wrapped up to be perfectly legal, its still 100% morally wrong and Gallagher knew it. Then he lied about it, cant blame him for that though, its bred into FF'ers.

Most embarrassing moment on tele? Anything Conor Hunt, or should I say Cunur Hnt, says. Where do RTE keep hiring all these people with quasi-english accents from????

Anything to do with Twink. Why oh why do they insist on dragging her sorry ass on to so many tv shows? I cringe every time I see her emerge on the late late. She's like car crash tv, you don't want to look at her but you know that at some point she's going to make a show of herself with her vulgar mouth. Cringing and shuddering just thinking of her.

Pat Kenny interviewing a giant bee.

Pat Kenny getting his knickers in a knot and tearing up the toy show tickets

Pat Kenny riding the baby elephant.

Basically any appearance by Pat Kenny.

There's lots on this show but I think that takes the biscuit.

I can't make out from all the talking-over-his-guest that O'Reilly is doing, but is the embarassing thing that it was actually the Americans, with Bush Sr. as Director of the CIA, who trained the Mujahideen and thus are responsible indirectly for killing his father?

The majority of the the time Ireland play in football.

finished in the play off spots in both last two qualifying groups, part of the last euro championships, only qualifying defeats in 6 years have been against 3 of the top teams in the world and unbeaten in away games in 6 years.

if thats an embarassing record, then youve got to start watching more tv.

I criticised him at the time for breaking ranks with the party, I suppose FF were dirt in the public eyes and he felt he'd a better chance standing as an Independent. I didn't agree with that, you stay with you own through thick and thin.

I may be mistaken DLH, but aren't you also a supporter of Michael Lowry?

    Yeah that's was ott.

Fair play to the queen - I liked it. But Mary should have just smiled, maybe a little nod if she felt like doing a little more.

    This +1.
Coleman was obviously a product of the Irish interviewing technique, where people shout over each other without listening to the responses. She walked into that interview with a chip on her shoulder thinking she could dominate the POTUS. Thankfully her career fell into the gutter after Bush destroyed her and put her into her place. She was exposed as the second rate culchie journalist that she was (with a degree from an IT *snigger*). The Irish government had to issue an apology to the White House over her rude behavior. National embarrassment.
