Spotify Playlists

My laptop is currently broken so I'm left with out all my music. Anyone recommend any good Spotify playlists.
The NME have a couple of good ones on there. Any others??

Install the Rolling Stone Recommends app into Spotify, there's some interesting ones in there, although I'm surprised at some of the stuff they have on their Best Songs of ... playlists.

Q also have some good "Real best of...." playlists here

Also take a look at some of the playlists by Spotify themselves, they have some good guest contributors as well as the usual top tracks at the moment in each country, but I've heard some great stuff on the annual top track lists.

if you google spotify + royalties I'm sure you'll find a few articles.

I don't think artists make a lot of money out of it, but I don't think the service (which is largely owned by major labels) is turning much (if any) of a profit yet either.

Anyone used the Rdio music service, its better than Spotify imo. Seems to have pretty much everything on there and if only using it on your PC i think its free for 6 months, tho I think there is some sort of listening limit. No annoying ads either.

The sole person I follow on Spotify is Sean from Drowned in Sound. He's created a wealth of playlists over the past few years (Monthlies/Quarterlies/Yearlies etc.).

2013 Q1

Music for Office Workers #1 out of 5.

And Pitchforks P4K 500 00#s is always worth a listen.
