For me it was when Sean Gallagher got so badly exposed before the presidential election. Top class tv entertainment, its rare you see something like that on live tv. He was caught rotten but it made me laugh.

As bad as it was I still didnt feel embarrassed. Its like farting in an old folks home, you dont care because nobody wants to listen (and probably wont believe them) when they complain about the smell.

What did he do? He was ambushed by Sinn Fein, dirty politics typical of the party. Sean Gallagher delivered donations for FF, he did nothing wrong, he broke no law.

The outcome from the whole debacle is that we now have a leprechaun in the Aras who engages in mystic waffle.

Didn't come across like that on tv. All he needed now was a lie detector test.

All he had to do was tell the ****ing truth, instead he got caught in a lie, and it was the RTE production who set him up, not Sinn Fein, Seinn Fein just fecking ran with it.

I don't buy that for a second Seanah, it was an organised ambush. The funny thing is even through that dirty stroke they still couldn't get their man close on election day.

There's lots on this show but I think that takes the biscuit.

Didn't Gary Lineker do the same on a football pitch in the 1990 world cup?

Do you have any proof of that? I think you will find that Sinn Fein, through MCGuinness's official twitter account dismissed any connection to the account that tweeted RTE and claimed they know nothing of the whole thing and RTE chose to ignore that and carry on with the questions.

The muppet lied and claimed he never collected monies for FF, he claimed he had nothing to do with the political party and was an independent blah blah blah, despite the fact that he cavnassed for them in several areas for several candidates over the guts of 2 decades.

He was a bare faced lying tool and got caught in his own lies, it's better he was found out and dismissed by the public pre-election than sitting in the park sponging off the tax payer for 7 years.

Bill O'Reilly embarrasses himself every time he goes on TV, but this instance probably takes the cake, alright.

Judy Finnegan collecting an award on live tv and being totally unaware that the top of her dress had come down and her bra was showing.

Don't know if that was more embarrassing or the fact she was wearing a white bra under a black dress.

I believe they made it happen we don't need to pretend to be blind here, come on man you know they work.

I criticised him at the time for breaking ranks with the party, I suppose FF were dirt in the public eyes and he felt he'd a better chance standing as an Independent. I didn't agree with that, you stay with you own through thick and thin.

However taking into consideration the other candidates I was willing to put that aside. I thought he would have made a good President, I felt his youth(40s in political terms) and wife would have presented a good forward image of Ireland.

Ah, I see, you're an FF supporter, that explains it so.

All logic out the ****ing window anyway.

    Youtube link.

I believe Pat went on longer than this clip shows, but what's there should give you a feel for it. Gird yourself, you may accidentally clench yourself inside out.

Let's not derail the thread any further, it was my fault for jumping on the OP. We've different political views, we can agree on that, there's no point in getting into a prolonged heated political argument.
