Same deal here. When it is "working," it likes to pump my ego by telling me I'm going 99.9 kph. :(

I have exactly the same problem. At one point my bike -- and the sensor -- were parked outside Tesco, and I was in the middle of the store 50m+ away with the computer, and it was still reading crazy speeds. Some sort of interference problem, I can only assume.

I had a wired one from Lidl (I think the same brand), which worked great. It's at the bottom of a drawer somewhere. The only trouble was that the wire was very thin, and ended up broken in several places, spliced back together, taped liberally down to the frame, etc, etc. Hence my rash thought that the wireless one would be a good plan!

I have the same problem. It either doesn't pick up even if you hold the sensor right up against the wheel. Or it just runs at ridiculous speeds even if the wheel isn't turning. Has anyone got any of these things to work?

Also has anyone actually taken the bike computer back to Lidl and got there money back or a replacement?

I returned it and got the money back no problem. 99.9klm/hr even going up hill

Wore one of the softshells on a 70km spin today.

Apart from the mega huge pockets my only issue was when I got home and found my jersey and baselayer were soaked through.

    Can't complain though.

better off buying a Cateye computer from chain reaction cycles, 18 euros will buy you a wired one and you can get 2 years out of it

Returned my bike computer too, no hassle either. Think in theory I made a €0.01 profit on the deal.

Anyone had any experience with el cheapo wireless bike computers from eBay? Or else I could get soldering my old wired one...

It's great, if you ever do any maintenance on your bike.

What do you guys think if the cycling gear and shoes ?

I cycle to work (5km) atleast 3 times a week. I need nothing fancy, just the gear that would get me through.

I really like their long sleeve compression tops.

The shorts are almost useless. The chamois is appalling.

The jerseys and winter jkts are good for commuting, socks are good.
I can't imagine the shoes would be much good but if they're cheap just chance it?
